codes for electromagnetic calculations. It was held twice a year in
different regions of the world with a general meeting every two years.

the second TEAM Workshop, The Johns Hopkins University, Center for NDE,
April 3-4, 1989.
- Organized and hosted
the "1982 GFUN Users Meeting." This conference was an annual meeting
for sharing information and ideas between users of computer codes for
2-D and 3-D electromag¬netic applications, in collaboration with
Argonne National Laboratory and Rutherford and Appleton Laboratory,
United Kingdom. (The conference name has since been changed to EM-COMP.)
- Secretary for the
1985 COMPUMAG Conference, held at Colorado State University, June 3-6
1985. COMPUMAG is an international conference concerned with
computation of magnetic and electric fields.
- Member of the
Organizing Committee for the EM-COMP Conference (1983-1986). EM-COMP
was an international annual conference on electromagnetic field
computation concerned primarily with the interaction between developers
and users of computer codes. Replaced by CEFC.
- Co-Chairman of the
American Society of Nondestructive Testing Committee for Electrical and
Magnetic Methods and Activities(1983-1986), member(1986-1992). Also
member of the Nondestructive Testing Handbook Development Committee
(1984-1988)/ coordinator for the electromagnetic testing volume..
- Summer 85 - Visiting
scientist and consultant for the Fraunhofer Institut fur
Zerstorungsfreie Prufverfahren (IzFP) in Saarbrucken, Federal Republic
of Germany. This included installation of a 3-D eddy current computer
code on the institute VAX 11/785 and on a CRAY-1 at the University of
Stuttgart. Vectorization of the computer code and training of personnel
in its use were the primary activities.
