• TKM Unlimited Inc. Secure Keyless, Wireless Multiple Doors Entry System for Industrial and Retail Locations. (2004-2005). Secure entry system for multiple point access and multiple functions. Includes transmitters, receivers, remote control, software decoders and encoders, production of prototypes.
  

• The Goodyear Rubber and Tire Corporation. A Resonant Microwave Sensor System for Moisture Control in Tire Cord Production. (1999-2005). Design and simulation, and evaluation of final product.
  

• TKM Unlimited Inc. Remote Control / Secure Keyless, Wireless Door Entry System for the Handicaped. (1999-2004). Secure, rolling code based entry system with multiple access methods (keypad, switches, etc.) and multiple functions (door locks, lights, etc). Includes transmitters and receivers (433.9 MHz) as well as software encoders and decoders.
  

• Med-Design, Solon, Ohio, Design of a magnetic shield for an open MRI magnet (2001). Design of partial, passive steel shields for open MRI equipment for specified spatial field distribution.
  

• Vandorn-Demag, Strongsville, Ohio, In plant evaluation of electromagnetic (EMC) emissions, (2001). Measurement and analysis of field distribution for workers' safety purposes.
  

• Thin Film Consulting, Inc. Design and optimization of an open resonant cavity array for moisture monitoring of rubber products, (2000-2001)

• CAES. A compressed air power generating model, (1999-2000). A model for mine based compressed air systems that includes the compression and generation cycles.
  

• Lockheed-Martin Corp. Tether antenna for low frequency broadcast. (1999-2000). Design and evaluation of a tether for blimps that can serve as a low frequency antenna.
  

• The Goodyear Rubber and Tire Corporation. Pressure measurements and wireless transmission in EMT tires (1998 - 1999). Analysis, design and proptotyping of a complete telemetry system including transmitters, receivers, encoders, decoders and display for pressure and temperature in tires.
  

• Advanced Elastomer Co. Permittivity and loss tangent measurements for polymers (1998-1999). Microwave range measurement of properties of polymers for antenna applications.
  

• Lockheed-Martin Corp. Tethered power cable design for anchored blimp platforms (1997-1999). Calculation and specification of a tether power cable for blimps.
  

• Custer Products Inc. Wireless controlled signalling for cars and trailers(1998-1999). Design, testing and prototyping, including transmitters, receivers, encoders and decoders needed to implement a complete system.

• Jetstream Power International, Holmsville, Ohio. Design of low speed, high power permanent magnets generators for use with wind driven turbines. Also magnetic couplers for no-contact drives of pistons in corrosive-fluid pumps

• SIA America. Electrostatic deposition of materials for sand paper production (1989-1990). Calculation and modifications for uniform deposition, issues of high voltage and spark gap protectors.
  

• ERICO Products Inc., Solon, Ohio. Design and measurements of cable products, ground planes for computer rooms and electromagnetic shielding (1989-1992) for minimum impedance. Response of grids to overstress voltages.
  

• American Research Corporation of Virginia, Radford, Virginia. Computation of electromagnetic fields for nondestructive testing applications and design of eddy current sensors (1987-1991)

• Applied Biotechnologies Inc., Akron, Ohio. Design of electromagnetic drives for the Koroly artificial heart (1986). Emphasis was on designs for totally implantable artificial hearts with low power consumption and minimum moving parts

• Technicare Corporation, Solon, Ohio. Shielding of NMR equipment (1985-1986). Assessment of electromagnetic field strength due to commercial NMR equipment in Hospitals and mobile equipment and design of shields to minimize interference with computers and measurement equipment as well as to minimize the risk to humans due to exposure to high intensity electromagnetic fields

• NUMAR Corporation, Philadelphia, Pensylvania. Innovative magnet design for NMR applications (1985-1986). In particular, permanent magnet design and high frequency coil design as these relate to oil field bore-hole NMR equipment

• Teledyne Water Pik Corporation, Fort Collins, Colorado, (1984-1985). Design of plastic pressure vessels for water filters and development of appropriate computer programs for CAD/CAM.
